Overview 

The Daughtridge Group is a diversified marketer of petroleum products and related services in Eastern North Carolina and Southeast Virginia.  Based in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, The Daughtridge Group is family owned and operated, and is committed to providing the highest quality products and services to its customers at a reasonable price.

 

Through its wholesale and retail delivery division, The Daughtridge Group is a full service distributor of propane gas, cylinder exchange, home heating oil, diesel fuel, kerosene, and other petroleum products.  The Daughtridge Group is a branded distributor of Exxon, Citgo, and Pure gasoline through company-owned and operated outlets and is a supplier of branded and unbranded gasoline to independent retailers throughout the Coastal Plain.  Daughtridge Racing Division distributes Rocket racing fuels to race tracks and dealers.   Tharrington Parts is a division that specializes in  wholesale and retail sales of tobacco barn replacement parts.

 

In addition to its corporate offices located in Rocky Mount, The Daughtridge Group also maintains offices and bulk plant operations in Greenville and Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.

 

The Fuel DOC, the convenience store and truckstop division of The Daughtridge Group, operates thirteen Exxon, Citgo, and private branded locations in Rocky Mount, Nashville, Greenville, Wilson, Kenly, Micro, Lucama, and Halifax, North Carolina, as well as an Express Lube location in Rocky Mount.

In 2003, Bill Daughtridge, Jr. embarked upon a new endeavor – a showroom called the House of Fire located within the corporate headquarters in Rocky Mount.
